Social Values

1. What social values are critical? Economic is a social value that is critical in this book. I feel that if the family had the means to money they would not live like that were living. Although the mother was married to the children father, she still received benefits from the government that was subsequently cut off because she did not report her husband income. I feel that if she had the right social worker she would have the right resources and information to get her benefit because her husband wasn’t in the household, and I did not recall him providing for the children.
